Time at work is regulated by legislation and generally concerns all workers (Working Time Regulations SI 1998/1833 as amended). Employers must ensure that the limits on the hours worked and breaks given comply with these regulations. Further, there are stricter obligations with regard to night workers and young workers.
The law also imposes minimum requirements on employers entitling employees to:
